Single room home cinemas, commonly used living areas and open plan, multi-functional kitchen/diners benefit greatly from scene-setting lighting controls.

Dimming in a dining room can make every meal a special occasion. In living areas, pictures and pieces of furniture can be emphasised whilst awkward areas are de-stressed.

Heating
Intelligent heating management offers sophisticated control. Internal heating can be adjusted to suit outside temperatures, while sensors in each room and zoned heating apply warmth only to rooms needing it. A remote control system allows the client to interact from abroad and scheduled occupancy gives a smart heating solution.

Audio & Video
Video screens and audio are becoming more the rule than the exception. deckorum design and install flexible systems which allow multiple users to watch or listen to anything in any area, inside and out.

Sources may include SKY+, DVD, PC, CCTV, CD, Photos on CDR, hard disk based music and video servers – with the units and discs hidden from view.

Security
A common request is a series of CCTV cameras which will record without tapes or maintenance. Hard-disk recording allows this as well as internet playback via a personalized web-page which may also control other devices in the home.

Redcare-linked alarms automate a police response. Centralised designs allow us to sound internal alarms, flash lighting and activate CCTV recording inside and out.
